Beautiful space
We loved our stay here! Such a beautiful space, kitchen, fast wifi, and everything you could ever need for remote work. Located close to the beach and it was easy to get the bus around where we needed to go. Would 100% recommend staying here!
Remote Work in Okinawa: Reliable Wi-Fi, Ocean Views & a Truly Calm Stay
I stayed here for several days while working remotely and found it to be an excellent place for both work and rest. I spent several hours each day in web meetings, and the built-in Wi-Fi handled everything smoothly. I used Google Meet, Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams without any connection issues, which was essential for my work. The desk in the room is a standing desk, which allowed me to work in whatever posture felt most comfortable throughout the day. A screen is also provided, making it easy to set up an efficient workspace whenever needed. Although the building itself has some age, it is very well maintained. Once you step inside, you can tell it has been beautifully renovated. Despite being in a convenient location, the space immediately gives you a sense of calm and relaxation. The property also offers a wonderful ocean view, and I really enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony in the evenings. One of the rooms features traditional tatami flooring, and the natural scent of the tatami was especially pleasant and soothing. The bathrooms and other water facilities have also been nicely renovated and were very clean, making them comfortable and enjoyable to use. Overall, this is a wonderful place for anyone looking for a coworking-friendly stay that combines productivity, comfort, and a peaceful atmosphere.
Why I Loved Staying at Ikigai Co-Living in Okinawa
Today I would like to talk about my beautiful experiences at Ikigai Co-living Okinawa. I stayed for 4 weeks in room B and became more relaxed from day to day and woke up feeling rested. In the mornings, I prepared my breakfast in the super well-equipped and modern kitchen and then had breakfast on the cozy balcony with a view of the ocean. I also found the well-organized storage possibilities for all 3 rooms really good; everyone had their own place in the kitchen and refrigerator, as well as in the bathroom. In the room itself, there was a cozy bohemian concept, which feels cozy and inviting. The practical height adjustable desk was a mega plus point for me. The bathroom was another highlight – the beautiful self-designed wall and the perfect DIY washbasin at such a practical height, like one cannot buy. The bathtub and shower were pure relaxation and very luxuriously designed. Even the location was great. Around the corner a convenience store, several restaurants, bars, and even a massage studio. The best - the beach was within walking distance in about 15 minutes. 🏖 I even watched a free fireworks festival at the near by beach and went on an amazing sailing trip from the harbor in walking distance. In the cozy apartment, everything was really well thought out and coordinated with each other, right down to the scent that welcomes you at the front door. In this apartment, you notice how much value was placed on details. I would like to come back soon, I didn’t miss anything. Thank you! 💜
